About Jamie

Jamie is a licensed mental health counselor associate with a passion for serving a diverse range of individuals, including children, adults, and couples. She is dedicated to providing a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore their thoughts and feelings. With a background in education, she has worked with clients aged 5 and up. She has a passion for helping children, utilizing virtual art and play therapy to help them express their feelings. With adults, she utilizes numerous therapeutic approaches including, but not limited to, CBT, DBT, ERP, and Gottman Method.

Jamie has worked extensively with members of the LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities, such as the chronic illness community, and has a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by these communities. She is experienced in serving the neurodivergent population, with a special interest assisting those with ASD and ADHD in improving skills and managing maladaptive behaviors. She is also trauma-focused and believes in the importance of a person-centered approach in helping each individual find hope, healing, and happiness.

She is currently enrolled in a doctoral program to further enhance her clinical expertise. Whether working with individuals, couples, or groups, Jamie’s ultimate goal is to support the mental health and well-being of all those she serves, especially children and marginalized communities. Upon request, Jamie can incorporate faith and spirituality into her therapeutic approaches.

In her spare time, Jamie works with her service dogs and works to train dogs for others in need. She is also an avid reader and enjoys painting.
